Amazing Snorkeling Experience

I loved jumping straight into the ocean every morning at Hideaway Island. The snorkeling was very nice, and it felt like being in an aquarium, surrounded by beautiful coral and vibrant fish. The PADI dive team was super friendly and made the experience even better. I highly recommend this activity to everyone looking to explore the marine life here!

Tasty & Affordable Meals

I really enjoyed the food at the island restaurant. The local dishes, particularly the Melanesian feast, were delicious and very satisfying. I loved enjoying my meals right by the beach, which added an extra layer of enjoyment to the dining experience. The atmosphere was always relaxed and welcoming.

Comfortable and Cozy Villa

I stayed in a villa with an ocean view and truly appreciated the spaciousness and comfort it offered. The room was clean with regular servicing, and I enjoyed reading my book on the balcony overlooking the ocean. It felt like a home away from home, and the view was simply stunning!

Clean and Functional Facilities

The communal bathroom facilities were kept clean, which made my stay much more comfortable. I never had to worry about hygiene, and the shared setups were well-maintained. Although I personally preferred my room’s privacy, the communal areas provided everything necessary for a lovely stay.

This resort in Vanuatu exceeded our expectations with its breathtaking views and excellent facilities. The house reef is absolutely stunning, making it a paradise for snorkelers. While the accommodations are basic and shared bathrooms could use some improvement, the overall experience was delightful and worth the price. The friendly and accommodating staff made our stay even more enjoyable, and the lush surroundings offered a perfect escape from daily life.

I recently spent 10 nights at Hideaway and while it had its positive moments, there were significant drawbacks that affected our stay. The snorkeling experience was fantastic, and the location by the beach offered some beautiful views and tranquility. However, the poor maintenance of the rooms and lack of attentiveness from the staff really diminished the overall experience. Given the price, I expected more in terms of service and cleanliness.
